UNIVERSAL TIME IN HOMOGENEOUS ISOTROPIC SPACE

„Relativistic Propagation of Light“.
UNIVERSAL TIME IN HOMOGENEOUS ISOTROPIC SPACE

Zitat:

The Lorentz transformations are incompatible with a kinematic condition of uniform translatory motion. The speed of light is „absolute“ only if there is no relative motion. It is for this reason that the postulate of the absolute speed of light is immediately irreconcilable with a Statement involving relative motion.

Chapter 3: RELATIVISTIC SPEED OF LIGHT

Professor Wallace Kantor Relativistic Propagation of Light

Zitat:

Chapter 3
RELATIVISTIC SPEED OF LIGHT

The speed of light from a uniformly translating source can be deduced, rather than postulated. The deduction, based on the isotropy and the homogeneity of space, shows that the propagation of light is independent of its source motion (absolute propagation) only if the source is at relative rest. For a relatively translating source, the speed of light in etherless vacuous space depends on the motion of its source and is therefore relative and not absolute as Einstein postulated. The Lorentz transformations, which until now have been uncritically assumed to be kinematically consistent, are shown to be the identity transformations of statics. The symbol v in the Lorentz transformations, accepted as representing a speed of relative motion, is actually a hidden deception for zero.

Chapter 2: LORENTZ-INVARIANT UNIVERSAL TIME

Professor Wallace Kantor Relativistic Propagation of Light

Zitat:

Chapter 2
LORENTZ-INVARIANT UNIVERSAL TIME

The circular arc swept out by the angular displacement of a clock indicator (or its equivalent representation) measuring time is shown to be a Lorentz invariant, representing „universal“ time. The concepts of time dilation and transverse Doppler effect are accordingly not physically observable. Length contraction, also experimentally unconfirmed, and kinematic temporal phase, both consequences of the Lorentz transformations, are also physically unobservable. The unobservability of these „effects,“ due to Lorentz-invariant „universal“ time, renders the Lorentz transformations kinematically trivial and untenable.

There are several experiments that purport to confirm time dilation as a „kinematic“ consequence of uniform translatory motion. The experimental evidence for time dilation, when examined critically, will be shown, in Chapter 6, to be inconclusive. There are certain heretofore unnoticed theoretical aspects imposed as consequences of the Lorentz transformations that imply that time dilation is not a physically observable phenomenon.

Chapter 1: RELATIVISTIC ABSOLUTIVITY

Professor Wallace Kantor: „Relativistic Propagation of Light“:

Zitat:

Chapter 1: RELATIVISTIC ABSOLUTIVITY

The self-contradiction in the title of this chapter directs attention to the theme of the entire book: Einstein’s special theory of relativity, based on the Lorentz transformations, is founded, as first observed by Einstein himself, on two „apparently irreconcilable“ postulates — relative uniform rectilinear motion and the absolute velocity of light emitted by moving sources. The hypothesis of the absolute velocity of light is in fact, on the basis of current experimental evidence, absolutely irreconcilable with the concept of relative motion.

About sixty experiments associated with the kinematics of the Lorentz transformations and the Einstein special theory of relativity are critically examined in this book.

INTRODUCTION by Thomas E. Phipps, Jr.

Nachstehend bringe ich eine Einführung (Introduction) von Thomas E. Phipps, Jr. zu dem Buch von Professor Wallace KANTOR: Relativistic Propagation of Light„:

INTRODUCTION

by Thomas E. Phipps, Jr.

The special theory of relativity is „special“ in many ways, some not featured in guidebooks of the subject. Its logical Status is unique, in that it appears to embody an application of pure reason to two „physical“ postulates, relativity and light-speed constancy. The result is a kinematics that, strictly speaking, applies to nothing in the world (because of its limitation to uniform rectilinear motion, which never occurs physically in any exact sense), but, practically speaking, is applied to everything. The theory, in reconciling such Professional practice with logical rigor, acquires the aspect of a conjuring trick.

Wallace KANTOR „Relativistic Propagation of Light“

KANTOR

PREFACE

This monograph presents, in one convenient place, a critical examination of t he immediately relevant experimental evidence in the kinematics of the special theory of relativity and the old luminiferous ether theory. The result is surprising; there is no kinematic experimental support for either of these theories. There is, instead, considerable unrecognized experimental evidence, both qualitative and quantitative, that contradicts these theories.

There is experimental evidence to an accuracy of one or two percent showing that the speed of light does actually depend on the motion of its source at the time of its emission from the moving source.

A Remark on the Constancy of the Velocity of Light

Liebe Leser!

A Remark on the Constancy of the Velocity of Light
W. Engelhardt

I Introduction
In his famous paper of 1905 Einstein postulated that the velocity of light be constant in all inertial systems. Measurements with increasing accuracy confirmed the justification of this conjecture, so that today we have in fact replaced the normal meter by the cesium second and nine numbers. A physicist measuring the velocity of light, who would come up with a result different from the nine legal numbers, would just have used an illegal system of units.

IDEAS OF RELATIVITY: INTERPRETATIONS IN CONFLICT

IDEAS OF RELATIVITY: INTERPRETATIONS IN CONFLICT
The PIRT-Conferences 1988-1998, PIRT-Proc. 1998, Imperial College London
Mogens True Wegener, emeritus professor of philosophy, Aarhus University, Danmark

As one of the rather few philosophers attending the biennial conferences on the Physical Interpretations of Relativity Theory from their start in 1988 until 1998, ten years later, I would like to take this opportunity to assess the import of the various contributions offered by these conferences from a philosophical point of view, in order to give some clues as regards the perspectives of future progress in this field of physics. Throughout the past decade all our conferences have been sponsored by the British Society for the Philosophy of Science.

For that reason it may not seem imposterous for a philosopher to assume this task. Dr Duffy, the glorious initiator and excellent secretary of these conferences, has also chosen their title and written the text of their programme, from which I quote: „Contributors should note that the starting point of the conference programme is the acceptance of the accuracy and excellence of Relativity Theory which provides the framework for the discussion.

Scientists to Receive Lifetime Awards

Three scientists will receive lifetime achievement awards on Wednesday, May 27. The First Annual Sagnac Award will be presented to Dr. Peter Granaeu, Dr. Domina Eberle Spencer, and Alex Scarborough by the Natural Philosophy Alliance, a world-wide organization of scientists.

Storrs, CT (PRWEB) May 21, 2009 — The Natural Philosophy Alliance (NPA) will honor scientists during its 16th annual conference at a luncheon to be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Mathematics Building of the University of Connecticut at Storrs. Award namesake Georges Sagnac, a contemporary of Einstein whose ‚Sagnac Effect‘ challenges science to this day, symbolizes scientific efforts outside commonly accepted paradigms. As its first-ever recipients of the award, the NPA chose three octogenarians who have contributed significantly to endeavors outside mainstream science. Dr. Peter Graneau of Concord, Mass. for contributions in new energy and electrodynamics, Dr. Domina Eberle Spencer of Storrs for contributions in mathematical physics and relativity theory, and Alex Scarborough of LaGrange, Georgia for contributions in cosmology and earth science.
