WEAK RELATIVITY – the physics of space and time without paradoxes (2009)

By Prof. Franco Selleri

Google books

This book reviews the results obtained in recent years by the author in relativistic physics. The recently increased conviction about the conventional definition of relativistic simultaneity has opened the doors to new ideas, in spite of the fact that research has shown that simultaneity in the physical reality exists and is not at all conventional. If the coefficient of the space variable x in the Lorentz, or other, transformation of time (we call it e1) had a conventional nature it should be possible to modify it without touching the empirical predictions of the theory.

Lorentz transformations contradict an objective methodological interdiction (2010)

By Ravil Kalmykov

1. About a technique of comparison of spatial segments
Unfortunately, all former fair critical remarks of considerable number of sane fair researchers to address of Lorentz transformations customary in special relativity have not been perceived by scientific community to the right degree. Reasons of the author of this article about a methodological incorrectness of the process of deducing of these transformations have not considered too [1]. Apparently these failures should be referred on special world outlook and methodological complexity of a situation and for the present bad persuasiveness of the critical argument. We shall try to be more convincing well.

Escape from Einstein (1992)

by Ronald R. Hatch

Escape from Einstein (1992)
Amazon

Description
Einstein’s fame can, to some extent, be ascribed to the fact that he originated a theory which, though contrary to common sense, was in remarkable agreement the experimental data. Ron Hatch claims there is increasingly precise data which contradicts the theory. But he does not stop there. He offers an alternative – an ether guage theory, which offers an unparalleled, common-sense explanation of the experimental data. The new theory is distinguished by:

THE ESSENCE OF SPECIAL RELATIVITY AND ITS INFLUENCE ON SCIENCE, PHILOSOPHY & SOCIETY (2007)

By LI ZIFENG*, LI TIANJIANG, WANG CHANGJIN, TIAN XINMIN and WANG ZHAOYUN
Petroleum Engineering Institute, Yanshan University, Qinhuangdao, Hebei, 066004, China

This paper studies the current status of special relativity in science and philosophy as well as society, and reasons for special relativity to achieve its fame, and presents three academic viewpoints, four public attitudes, comments of known scientists on special relativity, and lists periodicals, scientific meetings, and networks studying questions on special relativity. We summarize various arguments about special relativity, analyze the logic mistakes contained in special relativity, and investigate the authenticities of validations and applications of special relativity.

Einstein and Mythology: The Lengthier the Relations in a Myth the Greater Its’ Mass (2009)

By Marvin E. Kirsh
The California State University Los Angeles Department of Anthropology

Abstract
The theory of relativity (1) is considered form a perspective of folklore. Abstracted entities in the theory of relativity are stripped of units in order to provide explanation, to expose an ordinary meaning that employs a fulcrum for visual description.
It is suggested that components of the theory’s construction are not only unusually compatible with religious and spiritual but are also unaccounted for scientifically; they may not render the expected power struggle of church doctrine with scientific notions but an opposite situation in which logical contradiction at the root level of physical meaning and symbolism is absent and might exist only with respect to active perceptual structuring, either functioning on the unknown or belief.

Special Relativity Theory versus Science Reality and Truth

By © Our Pal Asija 2009

Special Relativity Theory versus Science Reality and Truth (SRT v/s SRT)
From Aristotle to Einstein Even To Date Same Folly Rules the Paradigm of Special Relativity

This paper and concomitant presentation trace the errors in special relativity to Aristotle more than two millennia ago and how with an unintended boost from an Icon of Science Einstein himself, the paradigm that rules physics and indeed all science has been corrupted, which main stream science continues to follow blindly and even worship Einstein for it as a gesture of gratitude. How could the great scientist make such an error and why scientists still not have been able to fix it is an ever perplexing and baffling mystery, which I will try to demystify.

To Seek the Truth in the Face of Authority: The Work of R.A. Waldron

By Thomas E. Phipps, Jr., U.S.A.

To Seek the Truth in the Face of Authority: The Work of R.A. Waldron (1990)

Editor’s note: Richard A. Waldron passed away in Northern Ireland on May 24 of this year, shortly before he was to retire from the University of Ulster. Just prior to his death, Professor Waldron had agreed to join the editorial board of APEIRON, and contributed an article on stellar collapse which he eagerly looked forward to seeing published in this journal (see page 4).
